We heard the call to African health businesses by the AUDA-NEPAD HGS Accelerator and we responded!
“I am personally pleased to share with you that Klarah has joined the Home Grown Solutions Accelerator for Pandemic Resilience 2023!” Innocentia Kwalar, CEO and Founder, Klarah.
This acceleration program focuses on growth and mature-stage African healthcare companies, conceptualized in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in a realization of the potential of local private sector solutions to strengthen the continent’s pandemic resilience.
While this is a big deal for us, I am particularly excited about what it means for the millions of patients who will benefit as a result of this.
We will come out well-equipped with skills and access to deliver the best quality care at home both in normal times and during pandemics.
This means every African will be able to live healthily, conveniently, and affordably.
We will receive highly customized advisory support delivered by a world-class panel of experts. This Acceleration program is augmented with a supporting network of organizations that includes the likes of World Food Programme, Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Rwanda Development Board (RDB), Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), AAIC Investment, #EcobankFoundation, Aga Khan Foundation, World Health Organization, UNIDO, African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and others.
Many thanks to African Union Development Agency-NEPAD, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and the highly talented team at Villgro Africa!
Lets go!
